Enrico de Haas

Enrico de Haas is a well-known figure in the European custombike scene. He founded the brand Wannabe-Choppers in 2004 gaining international recognition for his bikes already at age 16.
In the following years he worked for several german custom shops like Thunderbike or Independent Choppers and continued building bikes and parts with Wannabe-Choppers.
After he finished his master mechanic title (Zweiradmechanikermeister) in 2011 he focused full time on Wannabe-Choppers and transformed it to a world wide established brand for high class bikes and chopper parts.
Enrico lives with his wife Maria and their two children in Hüttenberg, right in the middle of Germany and Europe.

s.d.g. = soli deo gloria
Maybe you've asked yourself „what the f… are those funny letters somewhere on all of Enrico's parts and bikes?". Many artists of the medieval times and the baroque era have put these Latin words (or just their three initials) on their artwork. The reason for it was to explain that they understand their artwork as a glorification and praise of God. Soli Deo Gloria translates into „Glory to God alone".
Enrico is committed Christian. Jesus is the boss of and in his life. Therefore he wants to glorify God with his work instead of looking for his own fame. Why am I doing that? Because I owe him everything. Jesus alway was and is endlessly good to me. He has shown so much patience and loves me even though I screw up things so often. He always straightens what I've messed up.
So this is my way to say „thank you Daddy! without you I would be nothing and I could do nothing: Glory to you alone!
